Effective October 31, 2026
In short: you buy a license once and keep it, with no subscription. Use it on the number of computers your license allows, don't share or resell your key, and contact us if anything goes wrong with an order.
Who we are
brutesoftware.com is run by Brute Software, the maker of Brute3D and the other tools listed on this site. By creating an account, buying a license or using the site, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information.
Your account
- Use an email address you own. Your licenses are tied to it, and we send your license keys and sign-in links there.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from My Account.
Buying a license
- Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- After your payment goes through, your license key is emailed to you and appears in My Account.
- Products marked "coming soon" can't be bought yet.
Your license
- A license is a one-time purchase. It doesn't expire and needs no subscription.
- Licenses include commercial use: you may use the software for personal, client and studio work.
- Each license can be active on the number of computers shown for it in My Account. To move it to another computer, deactivate it first.
- The software is licensed to you, not sold. Don't share, publish or resell your license key, and don't copy, crack, reverse engineer or redistribute the software, except where the law allows it.
Problems and refunds
If something is wrong with your purchase, contact us and we'll work with you to fix it. Refund requests are handled one by one. When an order is refunded, or a payment is reversed or charged back, the license keys from that order stop working. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
Updates and third-party services
We may release updates and new versions, but we don't promise any particular feature or schedule. Some features of our software connect to third-party services, such as AI model generators. Those services have their own terms and may charge for their use.
Community and messages
When you post in the Community or send us a message, keep it lawful and respectful. No spam, harassment or content you don't have the right to share. We may remove posts and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Disclaimer and liability
We work hard to make our software reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires. Save your work and keep backups. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Purchases you've already made keep the license terms they were sold with.
